On July 26, 2010, Judith B. Hilnbrand (nee Lubitz), beloved wife of the late Harry (Steve) Hilnbrand; loving mother of Andrew Hilnbrand of Westhampton, MA, and Karen Creutzer of Eldersburg, MD; devoted mother-in-law of Gillian Daley and Jeff Creutzer; cherished sister of Steven Lubitz of Morristown, TN, and Bob Lubitz of Ellicott City, MD, and the late Larry Lubitz; adored Bubbie of Sarah Creutzer, Allison Creutzer, Miryam Hilnbrand and Eamonn Hilnbrand.
Services at SOL LEVINSON & BROS., INC., 8900 Reisterstown Road, at Mount Wilson Lane on Thursday, July 29, at 10 AM. Interment Progressive Rudomer Verein Cemetery - Rosedale. Please omit flowers. I just got word that Judy Hilnbrand, a long time NSHSA member has passed away. She was the Captain of Mast Confusion, and she and Steve owned After Hours before that. Judy has recently been in Hospice care at the home of her daughter She has fought pancreatic cancer valiantly for over a year.... and with such a positive attitude. She was an example for us all.
Steve, Judy's husband died in August of 2007. Steve and Judy livened up the club for so many years,and I know they are now making Heaven a very happening place. We were so lucky to have them to be our sailing friends and very valued members of the NSHSA. They simply don't make them better than Steve and Judy. Fair winds..Judy and Steve!! We will miss all the laughs, fun and friendship. You two were the best!
