Dear NSHSA Family,
I want to thank all of you for your condolences, but I don't know the right words to use.  My family and I were just overwhelmed by the outpouring of your caring and kindness.  Steve was a devoted husband to me for 38 years, a loving  father and grandfather, and a friend.  He was a cop and a hardware store clerk.....those were his jobs, but his family was his love and his life.  So whether related by blood or by common interest, we were all his family, and therefore his love and his life.

It's only natural to mourn when someone dies, but Steve would not want anyone to mourn for him........well, maybe for a day or so.  He never wanted to be in the spotlight.  So let's not mourn.  Hug your kids, your spouse, your significant other, your parents,  your pets.  Let those close to you know you love them.   Celebrate Steve's life as we see his legacy live on in Andy and Karen, and our precious granddaughters, Sarah, Allison and Mimi, and the new baby due in the spring.

Love,
Judy
